Diesel Overhead Doors in Calgary, AB has an immediate opening and now hiring a Lead Commercial Overhead Door Technician. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Lead Commercial Garage Door Technician will service, repair and install commercial overhead doors. This role is a permanent, full time position.
SKILLS REQUIRED
· 2+ years experience an asset as a Lead Overhead Door Technician
· Customer service minded
· Strong work ethic, team player and positive attitude
· Good communication and problem-solving skills
· Comfortable with heights (ladders & lifts)
· Good physical condition (must be able to lift 75+ lbs)
· Able to work outdoors in every weather condition
· Strong safety mindset
· Willing and able to successfully complete pre-site access requirements
Qualifications
· Experience in Service, Repair and Installation of Overhead Doors (Sectional, Rolling Steel, High Speed, Fire Doors, Bi-Fold - willing to train if not experienced on all)
· Must Possess a valid Alberta driver’s license and provide a Drivers Abstract
· CDI Certification is an asset but not a requirement
· Relevant safety training and tickets are a huge asset (ie: OSSA Fall Protection, OSSA Elevated Work Platform, Standard First Aid, H2S, CSTS, Zoomboom, etc)
· Safety minded
· Able to travel and pass all site requirements including D&A test
