Route 66 Moving was established in 2008 by two friends: Nick opened a business location in San Francisco, and Mike - in San Diego. Our founders spent years in the moving industry as mover-experts before making Route 66 Moving a well-known company. We became one of a few independently owned businesses having location in two major cities in California. LA location was open a few years later. That's how Route 66 Moving became a California long-distance moving company.
In 2017 Nick and Mike decided to split up the business as they had different views on how to manage the business.
So, today Route 66 Moving based in San Francisco is run independently from Route 66 Moving based in the Southern California (Los Angeles + San Diego.)
We continue to offer local and long-distance moving services in California.
We share the same web-site, name and main phone number (877-666-9668) while all moves originated in the Bay Area are handled by the SF office; and the ones originated in LA and San Diego - by San Diego office.
