Only offices in LA and San Diego offer full interstate moving services as of 2019.
Another important topic is that since we have been in business for over a decade and done thousands of moves and earned great reputation in California, some dishonest people in other states decided to use our brand name - Route 66 Moving - illegally referring to us as their partners. We are aware of at least two moving companies which we will be taking to the Court: Route 66 Relocation from New York and Route 66 Moving and Storage LLC from Miami. That scammers use our trademark illegally. Since attorney fees are high we have not been able to sue those companies yet but planning to do so in 2020.
If you want to get a full interstate moving service, please, contact the San Diego office.
If you consider using PODs or U-Pack services for your interstate relocation from the Bay Area, our San Francisco office will be happy to assist you with your state-to-state move.
How do PODs and U-Pack work?
If you use PODs, then you will be provided one or a few portable storage container which Route 66 Moving can load; we would pack your boxes, protect the furniture and load the containers. Once the containers are loaded, a POD company will pick up them up and arrange shipping them to your new location. You will need to find some other local movers at the destination for unloading and unpacking.
If you choose book U-Pack service, Route 66 Movers will pack and load your stuff, transport to ABF terminal in Oakland where you will have a dedicated room in a shared trailer. This is a very nice option because once your stuff is in that trailer you can put your own lock and no one will have access to your stuff until it gets to your new home in another state. You will need to arrange local movers in your new town and these movers will transport your stuff from the trailer to your new home.
